Hello mums.
My first time posting here and really looking for any/all advice.
My son has had a bit of journey in his three short months. At first he was diagnosed with silent reflux, treated with gaviscon, then ranitidine and finally omeprazole, none of which really helped him after the first few days on each medication. Then diagnosed lactose intolerant, given comfort milk and colief drops, helped for a few days then problems started again. It was then decided he had cmpa, he was put on Nutramigen and then Alfamino, same as always, they helped for a few days and then back to square one. During this all he stopped feeding and was admitted to hospital, there it was discovered he had a posterior to the tie which has since been divided. He can feed better now but my problem is that all formulas seem to upset him. Every time we change he is comfortable, relaxed and sleeps wonderfully for two to three days and then he becomes increasingly unsettled. He fights feeds, he doesn't sleep day or night, he cries like he's in pain. He does have signs of reflux but no medication seems to help the pain, gaviscon and carobel both made him constipated to the point of bleeding, without a thickener he vomits continuously for hours after each feed.
I'm at a loss. I have no clue what to feed him to make him comfortable. So sorry for the essay but I'm at my wits end.
Does anybody have an advice? Is there something else out there I haven't yet tried?
