Any bookkeepers that can answer some questions?

Hi,
I’m wondering about doing a bookkeeping course. About 20 years ago I was a part qualified accountant but life took over and I ended up on a different path.
I need to be able to work from home or close to home (I need to do school runs and holidays or sort holiday clubs/childcare and earn enough to cover this).
Anyone done an online course they recommend? Have you been able to build up a decent client base? Is it a realistic job to do and earn ok? I currently work from home but I can no longer do this job so need to find a realistic solution. TIA

My friend has completed her online bookkeeping course from Pennfoster. Currently, she is working from home and receiving a handful of the amount. Earlier she was working with United Accounting Services for accounting service Passaic County NJ and got decent clients.

Well, I would suggest you carry on with the course. I believe you will build a great career in it.
