DFS Sofa Woe

I purchased a sofa from DFS just before Christmas, it's been delivered - 4th December - and I'm so unhappy with it, it looks cheap and tacky, the corner is already starting to sag and I've discovered some very poor stitching, I can't get the pillows to sit right so it always looks unkempt and uneven, nothing like the picture on the website.

It cost £1000 and I have 4 years of credit ahead of me at £25, I haven't even made the first payment yet, I'm so gutted.

DFS are sending a service manager out next week, just wondered if anyone had any experience of this situation and what the outcome was, I've had 2 sofas from DFS before and was delighted with them both....

I have a dfs sofa and it's great, but my friends was shit, the service guy came out and they gave them a credit to replace it. They then gave the existing sofa to the british heart foundation. In their case the sofas ripped, leather, in the central seats, and they also sagged. The new sofas are great though and much sturdier.

It does seem to be a bit hit and miss. Good luck with the service guy.

Thanks bluntness, from a bit of googling it does seem to depend on the service manager visiting🤞
