Would you resend a job application letter if you realised it had two small mistakes?

Title says it all really.

I was just reading over a job application I sent yesterday and have realised there are two minor errors in the letter (think a misspelled word and an erroneous comma).

Application deadline is this evening. Should I resend a corrected letter or will that just draw more attention to my stupidity?

Ooh tough. On balance I wouldn't.

I don’t think you can send another unless you can withdraw application and re-submit?

You could always send an email explaining you accidentally sent a draft, please disregard blah blah.

No! I once got a job for which the application had a spelling mistake, something along the lines of me having: great attention to detial Shock. I’d filled in the online application whilst terribly hungover.

DownWhichOfLate Grin glad you got the job.

I'm not going to say exactly as it's very outing but one of these errors is in a paragraph that mentions similar things. My letter is a bit too long so I'm hoping they just skim read it Blush

I got my last job after sending an application which used my married name half the time and my maiden name the rest Confused

The panel made a joke about me getting married halfway through the application but it wasn't a big deal. I had also claimed to have excellent attention to detail Blush
