What colour sofa?

We’re having a small extension to add a family living room downstairs. It has to be dark (mucky paws and little hands!)

We’ve got a light grey sofa upstairs. The rest of the house is white, teal and mustard with oak furniture.

Any suggestions? I don’t want leather.

Mud/gravy coloured. Mine is in a similar room and I have no regrets.

Ah no I don’t think I can do mud or gravy!

Navy?

Teal?

Brown? Like a much darker version of mustard to tie in with the rest of the house.

A dark teal could work. I would like to tie in with the rest of the house. Really my options are dark grey, dark teal, could do navy but I don’t really want to introduce a new colour scheme. Maybe I’ll stick with dark grey and then I can add colour with the accessories. Grey’s been done to death though hasn’t it!

I have de-greyed my house! I don't miss it 😂 we do have a dark grey sofa though. I'll add a picture as our paper is teal and bronze

I don’t care if grey isn’t a ‘thing’ any more. I still like it and you can put so many colours with it. Teal, sage green, acid green, pink, yellow. Much nicer than boring beige.

The problem with getting a teal sofa is if I go off the colour whereas grey does lend itself to changing the accessories.

We have LIME GREEN .. (we are an 'oatmeal, teal family 😯)who had a mad moment ... one with an extension so you can put you feet up and another a 'cuddle sofa' ... brings us all so much joy EVERY day. All you can ask

We also have a lime green sofa in extension and teal in snug. We use really nice rugs to cover certain parts that we know mucky paws might get at.
