Anyone else ill and feeling sorry for themselves?

I came down with a fever earlier in the week, followed by awful headache, hacking cough and today it has completed itself with random nausea - the kind where I didn’t trust myself to leave the work toilets and couldn’t see my clients. I gave up and came home, now flaked on the sofa. I feel terrible for leaving my team in the lurch having to cover my work at short notice, and just generally feel sorry for myself Sad

I had a horrible cold before Christmas which I’d only just shaken off and now this!

I'm nowhere near as sick as you guys, but I've got this weird throat thing that doesn't hurt exactly but feels very uncomfortable and nasty. I'm also absolutely cream crackered, but managing to work okay. Just tired and uncomfortable :(

Yep week 3 (or 4 i forget) of an ear infection. After 2 lots of failed oral antibiotics one lot of failed eardrops+steroids. They've figured its not a bacterial infection...

Its thrush... in my ear...GrinShockGrinShock

Cream can take 2 weeks to work. I'm fine as long as i dont move to much (feel sick) and ignore the tinnitus. Im fed up already.

I stumbled across this old thread Googling as I'm feeling sorry for myself with a cold, it's strange reading back how poorly some people were in Jan 2020. Some with symptoms we'd now say could be Covid. It feels like such a long time ago.
