What do you do with your old car seat?

Dd has just moved out of her sirona cybex I size car seat and I feel sad just chucking it away. It cost £400 and still sells around that region, it’s in such good condition 😩

Do people just chuck them?

I gave mine to a charity shop. Lots of people still buy used car seats so if you don't want to give it to a charity shop why don't you list it for sale?

AS above-charity or sell. You know it’s safe-if your dc hadn’t outgrown it, shed be still using it, so it’s no different for a new child. Surely it’s morally right to pass it on to keep another child safe.

I give them away on Facebook. I know lots of people are understandably wary about used car seats but I know they are safe and it's a horrible waste of plastic otherwise.

I would give ot to someone i know or a friend of a friend so that they could be assured that is was safe.
