My favourite moment was watching a clip of it on an American news site. They carefully amended the subtitles to put an asterisk in "We've seen James Corden appear as a fat p*ssy" but forgot to beep the sound. I'd love to introduce them to Mrs Slocombe's oft-mentioned pre-watershed pussy.

The cynic in me thinks that he has done this because he has tried and failed to make it fully in to Hollywood and has lashed out as he is leaving.

I don't believe it. I mean I enjoyed it, but it was scripted, it got headlines, the show needs that. I think it was perfectly staged by the folks that run the show.

I loved it. His previous Golden Globes are on YouTube and are very funny, but this was the best I think in the wake of Weinstein, so much hypocrisy etc. I loved watching the celebs to see their reactions.

Loved it
