It's a bit dry but I have half a joint left to use tomorrow. What can I do with it?

Add BBQ sauce mustard chilli and apple juice and cook on low for a few hours for pulled pork. Yummy.

@GreenTulips you mustn’t use a slow cooker for reheating meat.

I’ve made a pork fried rice with left over pulled pork before. It was pretty tasty.

justthecat · 07/01/2020 17:07

Put it into wraps with salad and garlic mayo

Regularly heat in oven or pan with BBQ sauce, then serve with coleslaw and baked potatoes.

BloodyCats · 07/01/2020 17:10

Pour loads of bbq sauce on, whack it in the oven and then put it in a bun with coleslaw.
I want bbq pulled pork now

My mum used to make Porkal pie (I think she made it up) which was left over pork, onions and apples cooked like a stew in gravy so the apples with a cobbler top on it (or dumplings). Serve with loads of green veg.

Pie! Chicken, shredded up pork and leek.
Stir fry
Shred it up and make wraps with some sort of sauce - like a crispy pork pancake instead of crispy duck
Chop it up and put it in papardelle with a tomato sauce

Strandliv · 07/01/2020 17:18

bebrave I really want porkal pie now. Sounds yum.

Mix it with BBQ sauce, melt some cheese on it and put it in wraps. Mmmmmmmmmmm!
