I am desperate to get one for the endless golden retriever hair around.

Just bought a Eufy 30C, and I love him (Eugene).

Stumpedasatree · 07/01/2020 19:18

@EmmaStone tell me more. I am thinking the Eufy model below that, the 11S.

I’ve got a basic eufy. I’m really pleased with him.

Sebastian.

Also have hairy golden retriever and a lot of hard flooring could do with a robo mop and hoover. Are they easy to set up?

raaaasss · 07/01/2020 20:13

We have a basic eufy too (Jim) and love him, it's not an exaggeration to say he's been life-changing!

EmmaStone · 08/01/2020 09:14

Eugene's brilliant, I like the app, as I get a notification on my phone/watch when he's in trouble. The cat's very suspicious, but starting to become accepting. Eugene bumbles around the house, sucking up the fluff as he goes. It's a great stop gap in between proper cleans. Very, very easy to set up, easy to empty, a thumbs up all around!

DMCWelshcakes · 08/01/2020 10:55

Eufy, known as Oofy Prosser, has been a godsend at our house. He's an 11S and keeps the chaps under control. I empty the dust box about once a week but other than that he takes care of himself.

And it's a great way of making sure the children pick stuff up off the floor. It they don't, they know that Oofy will eat it.

DMCWelshcakes · 08/01/2020 10:56

Also OP, as you'll have noticed, it's the law that you have to name them. Grin

We have a Roomba that you can control via an app if you want to, and set a schedule. It also re docks itself to charge once finished. It's really good. It was quite expensive compared to other brands.

Ours was named Stacey by our 6 year old!

I ordered a Eufy a few days ago he is arriving on Saturday .
I hope he likes cat litter Envy < not .

There is another post started on here a couple of weeks ago about robovac I cannot do links on my phone if you have a search for robovac I'm sure it will come up there lots of recommendations on there .
It's definitely what inspired me to go ahead with something that I wanted for quite a while

Stumpedasatree · 09/01/2020 18:43

@AlCalavicci I've just ordered a Eufy 11S too. Fingers crossed it saves many hours!

Let me know what you think when it arrives.

@EmmaStone we also have a Eufy called Eugene! I love ours too!

moredogsthansense · 09/01/2020 19:02

Have had ours about 2-3 years? First one stopped working quite soon and Eufy replaced it at once, no questions asked. Eugene 2 has been wonderful.

fedup21 · 09/01/2020 19:07

We have a Eufy 30C

He’s good-he cleans pretty well, though does tend to get stuck under things and will try to eat cables if left lying around (headphones for example!). I love the way he knows where the stairs are and doesn’t fall down them!

( I am on there but have name changed since )

AlCalavicci · 11/01/2020 22:47

@Stumpedasatree I am watching my Eufy do its thing now , it seems to be doing a good job it managed all the tracked cat litter with no problem ,
It goes in very random directions but it is easy to controle with the remote if you want ti to pay attention to one area .

It has not got stuck anywhere yet and is coping fine with the slight ridges in the floor between the kitchen and living room

My cat is not impressed , he is a bit scared of it but keeps batting it with his paws if it comes to close and he is feeling brave .

I have not name it . . . . . .yet. . . . .
