Oh I'm going to be no help at all but I feel your pain!

I tried yesterday to recover my password on my Hotmail account - it kept asking me to fill in details which included asking for old passwords used - if I could remember that I wouldn't need to change it would I!!

I eventually managed to log in using the old password after I'd tried every combination I could think of.
Hope someone has more useful info than me

I don't understand it. I write all my passwords down and save them onto my phone.

The password recovery form is asking for previous passwords I've used and Subject Titles of emails I've sent.

I set it up back in November and I've attached a separate PayPal account to it.

I've not used another password or even sent an email.

Microsoft chat have advised their isn't a recovery email or phone number attached.

I've had lots of emails for different things over the years and I've never had this issue.

@soontobeanana I only read your first sentence. I didn't see the rest before I replied.

I've typed in every combination of passwords I use.

I think my phone might have suggested one of those long passwords with letters and number but I usually always press to save the password to my phone.

I mean I get it. I wouldn't want them to just let anyone use my account but I usually have phone numbers, another email address or security questions to answer but there is nothing.

When this happens to me it's because I have left the caps lock on and I'm entering all capitals and it won't accept it!🙈😂
