Newborn bubble?

SleepingStandingUp · 07/01/2020 00:17

Seems like all the new Mom's I know are blissfully in their new born bubble.

Al I the only one who doesn't have one? 4 yo and 3 week old twins, the only bubbles I have are in the washing up bowl

Just feel like it's a sign I'm not doing it right or enjoying it enough

I'd find it very difficult to be in a blissful bubble in your situation!
How much help and support have you got?

DH is still on leave til about 15th so he's on hand but with 3 hour feeds sometimes barely that, pumping, feeding, washing up, clothes washing, meals, tidying up, bed routine even with two of us I feel like the moments to sit there snuggling a newborn are laced with guilt cos I should def be doing something productive (thankfully needy T1 who doesn't like to go down...)
