Anyone tried them and would you recommend them?

We had the fest spinach and ricotta and Cajun chicken ones at the weekend - they were nice enough. The base was a little tasteless though.

cliffdiver · 06/01/2020 18:03

*fresh not fest

georgialondon · 06/01/2020 18:04

I've only ever had one. It was truly dreadful

We do a lot of our shopping in Lidl but i really don't like their frozen pizzas.
They sometimes have fresh ones which are more expensive and nicer, but in general, no I wouldn't recommend them.

perfectpanda · 06/01/2020 18:06

Ok thanks. It's for a bunch of kids but they turned their noses up at the Iceland ones and said they tasted like ketchup! I will go to Sainsbury's....

I'm a big Lidl fan. Do my weekly shop there. Love the products! Hawaiian pizza is lovely.

perfectpanda · 06/01/2020 18:07

Is the Hawaiian one frozen? That's their favourite...

My favourite frozen pizzas are from co op.

Not tried lidl but aldi frozen pizzas are delicious. I would choose them over takeaway pizzas.

SpeckleDust · 06/01/2020 18:11

Mine complain about all the cheaper frozen ones but will eat the Lidl ones. I bought a fresh deep pan one from Morrison’s last week which they seemed to like a lot more.

Januaryjanuary · 06/01/2020 22:56

@perfectpanda yes I think it's frozen

okiedokieme · 06/01/2020 22:59

They are ok, no better or worse than other supermarket pizza
