Insomnia - help!

I'm nearly beside myself, I laid awake in bed until 430am this morning until I get to sleep - I've had 3 hours sleep max!

What can I do to try to get to sleep earlier? I've tried listening to white noise/audio book, drinking warm milk - anything else?

Sorry to hear. Have you tried upping your exercise in the day?

I find hard exercise definitely helps me.

When insomnia strikes I sometimes get out of bed and go and read something quite boring for 10 mins or so. Kind of gets your brain out of the endless loop of trying and failing to sleep which seems to help.
