Show me your bedrooms - need inspiration

Currently in the process of doing my bedroom, I’ve stripped the feature wall and painted and glossed the rest (brilliant white)

My furniture is the white Hemnes ikea range (wardrobe, 2 side cabinets, 2 x chest drawers and dressing table)

Grey woven carpet as shown below

My bed is as shown below

However I have no idea on decoration....

My bedroom has a grey bed and grey carpet with light cream furniture, cream wooden blinds and grey curtains. The wall behind the bed is painted deep red. Our bedding is grey / white patterns with a white throw.

Watching with interest. Mine is a mess and has been for years. I spend a lot of time on everything else but don’t do anything with my room. I have said I will tackle it this year. I want something opulent and boudoir-ish. Think the Brown’s bedroom in Paddington.

It sounds as though you need some colour,. With grey and white you can go with any colour you choose. What's your favourite colour?

If you are on Facebook, join the DIY On A Budget group, there are some gorgeous rooms on there (and a few hideous ones), but it’s great for ideas.

I agree on adding some more colour. Maybe green shades? We have that Hemnes chest of drawers and all the drawer bottoms have collapsed! Don't overload it.

Does anyone remember the thread where someone asked for bedroom images and someone googled a nice bedrooms and passed it off as their own?

Yes I do #ShirleyPhaullus it was carnage!
