Who does Claes Bang sound like?

It was niggling me all the way through Dracula... Anyone else know who I might be thinking of??

To be fair, I haven't heard him interviewed so I don't know if his Dracula voice is his 'normal' speaking voice but he's an actor, you'd expect him to be able to master accents!

He was on Mark Gatiss' Dracula documentary. That's his normal voice!

Most Danes have such a good grasp of English and quite often live abroad for a while so they have a good command of the language. Unlike some Brits! ( I nursed in Denmark for a short while).

The bit where he said "I'm undead, not unreasonable" reminded me of James Mason.

He's Danish so would probably do a passable German accent

IMDb reckons he’s fluent in Danish, Swedish, English, German and Norwegian.

I have a friend who grew up in Denmark- her accent is slightly posh English.

I kept thinking he sounded like Dominic Raab

James Purefoy-he has the same sarcastic sideways look! I was amazed to hear he was Danish (before I clocked the name, obviously!)
