What would you say if asked to guess?

She has chunkier limbs than the pure bred pugs I know, and her face looks a bit less squashed.

She’s very cute and I’m not normally a pug fan!

Jug - pug x Jack Russell ?

I'd say most likely pure pug. There are varying quality pugs (both in terms of breeding for health and breeding to the show standard) so there can be a bit of variance

Pug crossed with something but not sure what. The nose isn't as 'squished' up as a pure breed would be.

Yes 75% pug and 25% shih zu

I know a pug/shih tsu adult who looks entirely pure bred pug. Cross breeds are best with pugs to avoid breathing problems.
