NHS choose and book

I have semi regular hospital appts for my disability but they are in a specialist clinic so you don’t get a choice. I have another appt tomorrow in a clinic I’ve not been to before. I had to book it through choose and book which was the first time I’ve done so.

I’ve not had an acknowledgement or appt letter, is that normal?

Did you receive a confirmation email?

Did you print off the confirmation at all? Or screenshot and print that off? You could go then show them the print-out to confirm it if they argue you’re not on their system.

I've never received a confirmation email but have received appointment letters. OP, if you go back to th website where you booked, it should show you your appointment.

I went back to the website, thanks and it’s on there and specifically says nothing further will be sent.

Good. Just take a screenshot or photo of the page.

I’ve just done one a few weeks ago.

It said I wouldn’t receive a letter re the appointment. I just took a screenshot when I booked it.
