Infacol and constipation?

We started giving our 23 day old infacol 3 days ago due to her struggling to pass wind and being cranky when trying to pass wind.
However she hasn't pooed for 2 days, her last poo was very small and a lot thicker than normal; it's usually quite loose.
She has just managed to do another tiny bit but struggled and again it's really thick.

She is mainly breast fed but has a couple of formula feeds/top ups a day as I literally can't produce enough milk to satisfy her.

Has anyone else had similar issues?

Any suggestions on ways to help empty her out, we've tried circling her tummy, leg cycles etc.

Thanks

When my DS was almost exactly the same age as that he didn't go for days. At day 4 the health visitor was out (routine visit) and advised call the GP if nothing after 5 days. Did that and GP rang paediatrician who said they wouldn't take any action until 9 days but for the GP to check his tummy was nice and soft (it was). He finally went after 6.5 days. A long way of saying they can go quite a long time at this age and it's usually nothing to worry about just keep doing what you're doing. A soak in the bath can help relax them to get them going.

Should add all 3 of mine were better on powdered formula than ready made cartons so we try to keep those to a minimum.

Thanks, just worried us as she went from having a few loose poos a day to none 😬
The formula she's on is hipp powdered stuff, originally she was on ready made cow and gate but it made her super gassy and bloated so we stopped that when she was a few days old.

Her tummy does feel quite soft but she tenses as we feel it sometimes and gets cranky 🤦🏻‍♀️

My son would regularly go 5 -7 days between poos as a new born ( and then there would be an explosion ) he had really bad wind but the infracol seemed to help rather than hinder ... strangely I was advised to give more ready made bottles of formula as that helps? ( although someone else has suggested the opposite so it may have been the health visitor trying to ge time to shut up ) cooler boiled water is another option...he is now one and food has sorted it out he is 2-3 times without fail ( he still suffers from trapped wind so give infracol with night feeds as ons not as mobile when asleep ) .. the early weeks and months are hard on baby and parents I do hope your baby’s wind gets better soon
