Where to buy a bathroom suite

I'm looking for recommendations for a bathroom suite. I've been saving for the last year
The last one I got has been such a disappointment. The WC is boxed in and it is peeling. The vanity unit has peeled around the edges. The bath is enamel, I though it would be better quality, but it has scratched and chipped just from regular use
I have thought about buying locally from an independent but it will cost more. I cant afford to replace it again. I'm thinking free standing WC this time but would like a sink unit with drawers, just ones that don't peel after a couple of years

Bumping because I'm also interested!

Go to an independent plumbers merchant rather than a showroom. They are usually on a small industrial estates.
Ask their advice.
If you have a plumber already sorted then seek their recommendations.

Look at your local plumbers' merchants. My local Plumbase has a showroom where you can see some of their range stocked.

Also, don't assume that you have to buy it all from one place.

My loo is from Victoriaplum. My shower base, electric shower and towel rail are from Plumbase. My shower cubicle, basin, vanity unit and wall cupboard are all from Bathstore.

Go round a few places. Ask friends, colleagues and neighbours for recommendations.
