Anyone ever used it to treat a fungal nail infection? My DS has one and the cream is taking ages. I googled treatments last night and IPL is meant to work so I’m thinking, why not?

Anyone done it with success?

Ah well I guess not. A few articles say it will work so I’ll give it a go.

Shock OMG that's genius! I've had a dodgy toenail for years - I'm off to google!

Have some Flowers in advance OP, in case it works.

Also maybe post on style & beauty, lots of people there have lumeas.

Could you link to any of the articles you found? I'm not coming up with much.

Sounds interesting!

Ok further investigation suggests 7 minutes daily for 3-4 months, not sure I could keep that up

Scholl do a treatment for minor fungal infections. You can buy it from the supermarket, definitely Boots. It’s around £18 but it does work, so long as the infection is minor (doesn’t affect more than 2 nails and not the whole nail). I noticed an improvement just after a week. It’s a 9 month course, mind, so you have to be religious about applying it every day. Failing that, your GP can take a sample of the nail, send it off and then prescribe (another long course of) pills to take each day.
