A random memory. No rhyme nor reason as to why it comes and goes. Nothing to remind you of why the memory has popped into your head (no link in what you're doing IYSWIM).
I have a memory of coming across a really old abandoned house with friends when we were all on holidays. The kitchen looked abandoned by not in a mess by vandals, just really old jam jars and plates etc.. covered in dust and hardened.
No reason why this memory pops into my head at random times but it does! I've always wondered why this happens! Also one part of a dream where I was riding a bike (had the dream when I was about 12 and in my 40's now) and the spoke of my bike scratched a painting. This pops into my head also at random times. Why!!
