Ds1(9) came haring downstairs at 10 all sweaty and still asleep. Got him back and settled, he's properly over now I hope.

Ds2(7) thought a twelve-clawed spider had bitten him Confused. DH has had a good go at vanquishing it with a minecraft sword and ds is now back in bed but the light is on and many questions are being asked Hmm.

It's going to be a long night...

I had one last night as well. Woke up, I thought I was awake, started drifting off, and the nightmare carried on.

Bet it wasn't a twelve-clawed spider attacking you in your sleep?

I can't remember what it was about. I can remember other dreams I had, but not the bad one. I was calling out and trying to put the bedside lamp on and saying my hands won't work.
In the past my husband would have woken me up, but we have our own bedrooms now.
Just a point of interest, for the original poster, but do either of the children take Montelucast for asthma as nightmares can be one of the side effects. I take it.
