Not a terribly exciting chat topic I know, but if anyone has the time or inclination, I would be grateful if you could measure your bed from the floor to the top of the mattress, and also just the thickness of the mattress itself.
DH and I are looking at buying a new bed, but they all seem so high in the store we are looking in. I think it is partly that we are looking at having a divan bed instead of a wooden frame, and also that mattresses seem to have got thicker!
Please help be get perspective on what is “standard” these days! Any other bed-buying thoughts are equally welcome
