cancelling Sky

I'm seriously thinking about getting rid of Sky, however what happens to the recordings I have on my Sky box?

I have four old recordings of the ITV news which I want to keep, will they be deleted when I cancel sky?

Ok, thanks. I'll record them with my camera before I phone them. Do you happen to know if they remove access immediately or after the month I've paid for is up? I doubt they will give me answers when I call as it'll just be the hard sell

I used to work for Sky (12 years ago now albeit) in a call centre. They usually say it can be up to a month to cancel but it can be as quick as immediately.

They usually try very hard to retain you and offer all sorts of deals.
