5day old mozzarella

I've got some mozzarella I was going to put on a pastry sheet but I've just seen it's 5days out of date but totally sealed.

Is it going to be okay or should I change my plan

I would use it, as long as the packaging wasn't all puffed up with air !

I thought you were going to feed mozzarella to a 5 day old baby I would use it if it looks/ smells ok.

Smell it, if it isn’t giving off a bad smell and doesn’t have any mould, I would eat it.

You’ll know if it’s off, it’ll be super gross! But it won’t harm you.

I once accidentally ate week out of date burrata. That it not an experience I ever want to repeat.
