What’s everyone doing this weekend?

Trying to make my house less of a bloody hovel. Also, soft play and ironing school uniforms. So much fun!

Tackling a mountain of ironing and dismantling the decs ahead of twelfth night.

Placemarking for ideas because I am doing absolutely nothing and am bored bored bored. One of my resolutions was to do something fun every day but I literally am in such a funk I can’t think of anything :/

Working a night shift tonight, trying to get the house to a state where you can at least walk from room to room without tripping over stuff, trying to work out where these new toys live, taking down the Christmas decorations, making DC do homework (tried that unsuccessfully this morning). All so much fun. Did my mountain of ironing last night.

As much nothing as possible!

Cinema, housework, trying not to call ex. Maybe pub if I feel like I'm getting cabin fever.

Homework with DS, it's all quick maths and quick SPAG so won't take long.
Seeing nieces and nephew, seeing DM, probably going for a walk at some point. And then just pottering about the house

Encouraging teens to do homework... both have quite a lot!

Hope to watch something on our new TV this pm together if enough homework has been done.
Walk and possibly pub lunch tomorrow to finish off the Christmas holidays

Today, collecting some cardboard boxes for my compost pile to try and save it, building DS2’s punchbag stand in the garden with DS1, doing a charity food collection this evening to distribute.
Tomorrow sorting some bits I want to put on gumtree and Freecycle, ironing uniforms, maybe going for a winter walk and possibly a bit of geocaching.
Aside from that just normal cooking, cleaning ect and DS1 has asked if he can have a friend stay over this evening I hope to get in the next episode of YOU tonight on Netflix.

In bed feeling sorry for myself. Came down with d&v yesterday & got my period today!! Hopefully I'll feel better tomorrow and will get out for a walk & be able to prep for back to work.

Having eight hour sleeps and naps and languishing in leisure. My wonderful daughter is very unusually away so I am stocking up! 😁

Relaxing before DS goes back to school on Monday. Going for a wander around a local castle tomorrow, picking up a few bits from the supermarket but not much else.

Still doing laundry from holiday. Just realised I threw out daughters school shoes and need to buy new ones ASAP. But right now waiting for friends I haven't seen since early December as we are going out for lunch!

Going to spend vouchers, try to eat something healthy for lunch. Should be going to the gym.

General clear up today and shopping. Tomorrow taking daughter back to college.

Helping build Lego that dc got for Xmas.

Playing board games that dc got for xmas.

Taking ds2 and DS3 for a haircut.

Going to visit FIL as we still have their birthday presents (from august 🙈) and Xmas presents.

Not sure what we are doing tomorrow yet.

I also have a biology assignment to write which I've ignored all through the Xmas break 🙈

I'm away at a figure skating competition. Skating today and tomorrow. Nerves currently kicking in a bit.

Looking after poorly DC3 (caught a tummy bug from her older sister and has been hit hard!!)....need to tackle the mountain of washing as a result of tummy bug!!

Also need to do the ironing.

May take oldest to see Jumanji later.

DP is at work all weekend so we'll have to miss swimming lessons tomorrow.

Taken DS to his music therapy in the next city today, them swimming club with Dd later.

Working tomorrow on a 12 hour shift so need to get all uniforms ready for tonight.
