We’ re going to Kent to visit family today & want to go to a seaside town. Where’s the nicest one to go in the winter that isn’t shut down!
We usually go in the summer & visit Broadstairs, Botany Bay, Joss Bay & Whitstable.
The DC want an arcade, MIL wants a cup of tea, DH wants chips & I would like a mooch around shops!

Herne bay is nice apart from the shops. There are a few restaurant and fish and chip shops that are open all year round. A couple of arcades. Plenty of places to get a cuppa. There’s some fun exercise bits on the beach for dc. There’s a mini golf at one end. There is a high street with shops but this is a little run down.
Very pleasant for a day out for a bit of fresh air at this time of year.

Broadstairs, Joss Bay and Whitstable were going to be my suggestions Grin
