Currently lying on the bathroom floor dying. Baby was throwing up all of yesterday, husband yet unscathed Hmm

How long can I expect this hell to last?

It'll stop as quickly as it starts
I had it twice in December & both times the d&v lasted around 5 hours
Flowers for you OP it is grim

We have 7 of us here and the first one went down at 10pm on new years. I'm currently in the lead in the relay race. Only 1 more person to go.

I haven't had it for years (I've just sealed my fate) but I remember it like it was yesterday. I had my first bout of the trots at 8am and puked shortly after. By 5pm I was able to go to the shop. Before anyone flames me I am a lone parent and needed nappies for my youngest. My mother would have helped but she was puking too.

Yes, it will stop as quick as it starts, it’s absolutely hideous and you’ll feel rubbish for the next day or so (stomach really sore from the vomming mainly!)

I’m currently having flashbacks about the horrendous 4 days I was proxy parenting for the family I nannied for whilst they flew to Oz for a funeral (so no way of coming back!) and myself and all 5 kids came down with it. Jesus that was rough!

Thank god! DH has succumbed so that’s everyone now. I’ve stopped being sick so hopefully I’m done and I can tell him there’s a light at the end of the tunnel Grin
