Just spotted myself on Streetview

Was looking on Streetview to see how a street in my city has changed over the years and they've updated it with new images, and there I am. You can follow me pootling out of Tesco then quizzically looking at the Google man. I remember the day distinctly, it was around Easter and the Google man with that camera helmet thingy walked past me - I thought 'I'd better not end up on streetview'. Then forgot all about it until this morning.

Anyone else been 'got'? Don't know why but me and DD are pissing ourselves easily pleased 😂

DS1 used to be on it walking to school but it's been updated since.

Me! My husband and I are pushing our daughter in a buggy down the street eating ice cream We actually remembered the google van driving past us!

My friend was busted by his wife as he said he'd given up smoking, and yet was pictured outside the local clearly having a fag!

I was on it years ago. My youngest was in his buggy, he was around 2 years old I think, my twins were walking next to me. We were doing the school run.

Then last year I was doing the school run again, was with my youngest, now 12 and we spotted the google car. So we're on there again.

Daughter was both there and not there. First frame she was stood by her car. Second frame from about 2 foot further, she has vanished and her 'new' car is in the identical same parking spot.

We also have our trailer parked in three separate places about 12 miles apart.

I can get hooked on google earth/streetview etc.

My Dad was on it, he was doing some gardening and then as you moved further along the road he could be seen watching the Google car, it's updated though now so he's no longer on there.

We used to be able to see the shape of our dog on the patio on Google Earth but that's also updated. The Street View of our close hasn't updated for a long time though, it's about 7 years old as some of the houses were still for sale and the show house which used to be opposite was still in use as that.

I'm on StreetView, I was walking the dog along a local town canal. The backpack camera looks really strange until you realise what it is so I'm staring really oddly at the camera. I'd only heard of the cars before then.

Got caught on camera having a smoke break outside of work.

There's four of us and we look like a bad album cover from the early 2000's.

DM and her DDog were on it from a few years ago, sadly it seems to have been updated, they are both dead now so it would have been nice if it was still there.

There was a picture from the street we used to live in of a neighbour opening the front door in only his boxers. I think he was bringing in something left on the doorstep just as the google car passed. The image was there for quite a while but has been updated now

My DS1 is, holding his grandad's hand, in a few frames on MIL and FILs road. He looks about 3, so around 5 years ago. He loves looking at it!

I was pretty sure I recognised the street too, but I generally have a terrible sense of direction/memory for places so had to check. Turns out I was right - found you! It follows you along the street!

In the car parked outside my house

My sister was on it, standing at her gate
and having a smoke. She was clearly watching the car as it drove down her street but didn't remember it at all.

its been updated since but the first time i checked out our street, there i was kneeling in the back of the car rummaging around for something with my arse sticking out of the boot.

@diddl thank you! It's from the Best of British range at M&S ages ago - it was made in Somerset at the factory Mulberry uses. It was originally £300 but I got it in the 90% off sale! January 2015 I think. It's lasted better than even my actual Mulberrys have!

@BreastedBoobilyToTheStairs it's a pretty recognisable street if you know the area even vaguely! Not the most salubrious of areas, is it. At least I look more with it than this poor chap in the same spot from the last time it was updated. Hope he's ok, wherever he is now

Not me but I did once look up my evil abusive father’s house on there. It answered a question for me as to whether he was still with his totally psychotic third wife, because she was up a ladder painting their windowframes and was a recent pic.

Fascinating what you can find out about people just from looking at street view

I've just discovered that my dog is on Streetview, sitting at home on the windowsill of the front window. They haven't blurred his face 😂
