Just spotted myself on Streetview

Was looking on Streetview to see how a street in my city has changed over the years and they've updated it with new images, and there I am. You can follow me pootling out of Tesco then quizzically looking at the Google man. I remember the day distinctly, it was around Easter and the Google man with that camera helmet thingy walked past me - I thought 'I'd better not end up on streetview'. Then forgot all about it until this morning.

Anyone else been 'got'? Don't know why but me and DD are pissing ourselves easily pleased 😂

Also the car stops short of our house so it's not really on there

My in-laws are on it standing at the door of their house.

I used to be on there sitting on a wall outside work smoking a cigarette and checking my phone.

I'm not on it but DH is, outside a friends house doing something to their car.

My mum is on it standing at the front door waving us away in the car. If you go to the corner and look back she's there talking to a friend who passed as we left.
Kids loved finding it!

I'm still on, sitting in my car outside a clients house waiting for the other carer to come, it must have been about 7 and a half years ago now.
I remember it driving past and I didn't know what to do, we were at the end of a dead end road too so I had to watch it turning around while trying to act normal knowing it was filming me

My brother is on it, taking a photo of the Google car, so he has photos of the Google car taking photos of him the surrounding area on his Facebook page, this was about 8 years ago, so not sure he's still there, but he loves telling people about it.

I'm on it, driving down the road with a friend, just after a school drop off.
If you look closely, you can see my friend is adjusting her bra she hates it, especially since her dh screenshot it and changed her wallpaper on her laptop

I love looking at my childhood home on there, the numbers on the front door are the same ones I helped my mum (who died in 2004) screw on when I was about 10. Lots of happy memories in that house.

You must do a lot of yoga to bend like that! 😂😂

One drove past me while I was in a particularly distinctive hire car but it hasn't been updated yet.

I love looking at my childhood home on street view- it is virtually unchanged.

I also recognised exactly where you are in that picture . Its amazing how a small snippet of a street can be so identifiable. Have you ever played the geoguessr game? It is so much fun trying to work out where you are from just a picture.

I was captured by the Apple map camera car last year but can’t seem to get on Apple maps. I would love to see this as I had Ddog With me who was a puppy. Any idea how to do this? Wiki says it’s the default map setting for Apple products but mine just go to google maps. 🤷‍♀️

I was on - about to get into my car outside my daughter's old house ...she's moved twice since then...it's probably been updated.

My very dead Step Grandfather is still on street view out tending his garden. It’s quite sweet he’s still there, it’s where he loved to be.

You do look like one of my friends but she hasn't got a DD so I know you aren't her!

I'm on it twice - outside our current house 7 years ago wrestling two tiny children into a double buggy (not surprising that I didn't spot the car!), And again last year swinging a loaf of bread on the way back from the shops.

When I look at our old house, the curtains are closed in the middle of the day. I'm behind there, heavily pregnant, willing my eldest to make an appearance!

DH was on it, hanging out washing in the back garden in 2008. But I think it's been updated since then.

My DD was caught, walking home from school. She was delighted!

My old postie was caught across the road from my house.

My friends DS was also on it, with a friend of his. The friend looked to be hitting her DS so I screen shot and sent it to her. Her DS hadn't told her, but had dealt with the situation himself.

My mum; she was walking out of the local park with the dog and ended up on Street View. a neighbour was browsing the site and recognised her.

I have been three times. Once a few years ago round the corner from my house. That image isn't there any more. Twice last year in different locations. Last time I looked, they weren't up yet. My brother also used to be there, going in his front gate.

I got caught in my car once, remembered to look it up and there I was. Car and photo now a long distant memory.
Weirdest one was checking out my current flat to find my old upstairs neighbour staring out of her bedroom window in a white nightdress on google, she died months previously, it was me that found her, in that room in that nightdress
