10th wedding anniversary gift for dh?

He's impossible to buy for at the best of times so Christmas has wiped out the only idea I've had this year (fancy Bluetooth headphones). I think traditionally it's tin or aluminum with gems being diamond. He's into high end tech (that he buys when he wants it) and gaming (couple of very specific games he plays sporadically). He's not into "stuff" so there's no point getting him a thing for the sake of it (I got him a sound wave print of our wedding song one year, it's in a pile on his desk). All I can think of is cufflinks, which he does wear, but everything diamondesque is very blingy, which he's not.

Any ideas??

I gave my DH a bottle of his favourite, quite expensive gin and made a label that said ‘TIN’ and then crossed out the ‘T’ and replaced it with a ‘G’, to read ‘GIN’. x

Oh, that's a good idea. We might have to get through out gin lake first, but I'm up for a challenge Grin

I booked dinner in a restaurant themed after a famous hotel we stayed in on honeymoon.

He's apparently booking us a night away for our anniversary so I'm not sure where we'll be to do that. Nice idea though, maybe stash it away for his birthday!

I gave my DH a tin of the soup we had as our starter on our wedding day. We only do jokey presents

MotherForkinShirtBalls · 02/01/2020 22:50

That's excellent Grin

We do themed anniversary gifts and as our anniversary is just before Christmas we usually limit cost to around £10 each. For oyr tin year I bought my DH a tin tray with the coca cola santa on - it is used every Christmas. He bought me tin heart tree decorations, many of our gifts are Christmas themed though.

I bought my DH a bottle of Jean Paul Gaultier eau de toilette as it comes in a tin. Turns out the company he works for makes the tin so I got extra brownie points Grin

Unfortunately he still has about half the bottle of aftershave I bought him for our wedding! Love that your dh's company makes the JPG tin though.

Anything novelty is likely to end up in a drawer of doom Confused
