Just bought some today. Any ideas of what to use it for? aside from eating it out of the jar

Feed it to the birds? I love the biscuits but hated the spread.

doodlejump1980 · 02/01/2020 17:15

Oh my SIL makes the most amazing cheesecake and rocky road with Biscoff spread. tis the stuff of dreams!

LittleTopic · 02/01/2020 17:16

WHAT.

Where from??!!

Sorry, I don’t have anything more refined than just eating it with a spoon.

Stravapalava · 02/01/2020 17:20

Look at janes patisserie blog - she has loads of ways of using it. Including cheesecake, rocky road etc. It's nice on croissants & brioche, not so much on bread or toast.

BriefDisaster · 02/01/2020 17:24

eat it with a spoon of course.

cornstarch · 02/01/2020 17:25

Spread it on digestive biscuits

DaphneFanshaw · 02/01/2020 17:26

I love it on toast.
Tbh I love it on anything.

whoami24601 · 02/01/2020 17:27

It's very good on banana pancakes 😋

AlaskaElfForGin · 02/01/2020 17:28

@LittleTopic Do not. I repeat. Do NOT buy this stuff. It's the start of the slippery slope and there's no going back. Save yourself for the love of God.

APatchyTomCat · 02/01/2020 17:29

I like the flavour but not the texture. I can’t help myself thinking that it’s made on a production line of people chewing the biscuits then spitting it into jars. Sorry Blush

sockittome123 · 02/01/2020 17:35

I put it on those ice cream wafers that you can get in a box because they were on offer at the same time I bought my first jar

Alternatively, in a cheesecake.

150g Lotus biscuits
50g butter
300g cream cheese
approx half a jar of Biscoff spread
450ml double cream.

Biscuits + melted butter into tin = base
Mix cream cheese + biscoff spread.
Whip cream to stiff peaks.
Combine cream, cheese and spread.
Put in tin and chill for minimum an hour.

HelloCanYouHearMe · 02/01/2020 17:42

I love it on toast. There is a bakery near me that puts it in their blondies and they taste amazing

I have never ever sat in the car in the supermarket carpark eating biscoff straight from the jar with my finger... never... honest

Theredjellybean · 02/01/2020 17:43

@hellocanyouhearme

Its OK you are among friends here
Its a safe space

BackseatKnitter · 02/01/2020 17:58

Spread it on an actual Lotus biscuit and stick another on top Grin The husband also makes a mean cheesecake with it but I mostly eat it out the fridge with a spoon Blush

Clangus00 · 02/01/2020 18:01

Toast

VenusStarr · 02/01/2020 18:02

Spread it on biscoff biscuits to make a biscoff sandwich 😋

LuckyAmy1986 · 02/01/2020 18:02

Toast!! Although I
Would say don’t buy it because it just gets so addictive

Elieza · 02/01/2020 18:06

Oh you’re tempting me to buy some too Grin

Cornish2 · 02/01/2020 18:08

Are biscoff paying you to write this?

RoddySnapper · 02/01/2020 18:09

Biscuits over spread.

42isthemeaning · 02/01/2020 18:10

No.More.Biscoff.Spread...

Cohle · 02/01/2020 18:10

From the jar with a spoon. There is no other way.

squirrelnutkins1 · 02/01/2020 18:12

Out the jar with a spoon 😋😋😋

OnlyFoolsnMothers · 02/01/2020 18:14

Why did I click on this post- dieting and could cry. Though the cheesecake does sound like a good cheat day when the time comes!

Clangus00 · 02/01/2020 18:15

Oh and the crunchy one is the best.
