Recommend a really soft cuddly throw to me

I'd like a new blanket for cuddling up on the sofa, but would like a really really soft one. My mum's friend had one that almost felt like fur, but I don't know where she got it, she couldn't remember.

Preferably neutral or blue to match my colour scheme.

Any suggestions?

Thanks.

The Range do several faux fur throws.

Also have a look in TK Maxx , I've definitely seen fur type throws in there.

Ooh lots of suggestions, thanks. I'll have a look ...

I came on the thread to say Costco too! You don't have to be a member to order online. The throws are so very soft and very good value. For example www.costco.co.uk/Furniture-Home/Home-Furnishings/Sheets/Charisma-Ultrasoft-Yarn-Queen-Blanket-in-Tourmaline/p/1047954T

The Range do a faux rabbit fur range at the moment and it's the softest thing ever!!

Wilko waffle throws are down to £8 at the moment. They are 200 x 240cm, so really big, you can wrap yourself up in them and are so toasty.

Does anyone find the dunelm teddy bear fabric a complete nightmare for picking up bits of crap and then not letting it go again?! I have the throw on my sofa and even having the hoover on high suction doesn't get all the bits off. I have the matching rug too which was lovely at the beginning but is now full of threads/guinea pig straw/crumbs that won't come off without picking it all out by hand individually!!!

Mustbetimeforachange · 02/01/2020 17:08

Yes, Dunelm teddy bear stuff is lovely to start with but doesn't last, & yes, gets crap caught in it.

Laura Ashley sale, great throws at my local store, some with 70% off 👍

Oh, I just got one from cox and cox half price. It has stars on and is the softest blanket I've ever had (and I've had a few!)

I got this one for Christmas and it’s amazing. www.johnlewis.com/john-lewis-partners-faux-fur-throw/grey/p1503292 So soft and the best thing is that it doesn’t weigh a ton. I have the Habitat one www.habitat.co.uk/lupin-grey-faux-fur-throw-150-x-200cm-78264?istCompanyId=25ebb945-5a4c-4a3c-99e5-3abea8ce47c0&istFeedId=36f6d439-4d69-4caf-942b-d49eabfa36d8&istItemId=wmtwrlqla&istBid=t&gclid=CjwKCAiA3uDwBRBFEiwA1VsajNFP1uSygXteIwFF1Ehtx7NBrHe2gWwF_DiMLNk5VtDPGR6xhNpYChoC3V8QAvD_BwE - but it is SO heavy it makes me feel agitated after a while. This John Lewis one is a dream.

Definately look on John lewis’ Website and also Next.

DramaAlpaca · 11/01/2020 02:41

Another vote for The Range. I've bought a few soft, furry throws from there. They wash well & come up nice & fluffy again too.

There's a different coloured furry throw in sainsbury's each month with matching cushions. Also on argos same thing but labelled as argos Home instead

JustMyName · 11/01/2020 17:39

I got the waffle throw from wilkos to put on my bed, but it's still not what I wanted. I guess I'm looking for something more like fur, but very soft.

The John Lewis one looks amazing, but sadly not within my budget.
