Can I freeze raclette cheese from Waitrose?

I ordered way too much and dont want to throw it out. The web is divided. What do you say mumsnet?

Yes, I freeze mine and it’s fine. When defrosted it can be a bit more crumbly/ brittle when it comes out of the packet. But it’s going to be melted anyway so it’s fine

When I was little we visited a family friend in France and had raclette - they told me it was a secret family invention and that they made all the little spades etc themselves. I was so impressed and absolutely loved it, we had it for a whole week pretty much.

Wasn't until I saw raclette cheese in waitrose as a grown woman that I realised they'd been pulling my leg Smile
