So far I've got plenty of 80s/90s stuff but I need suggestions and some more modern stuff too. It's for a fairly wide range of ages and it's for day to evening family event.

Help!

Some kind of family celebration?
Dancing or just listening?

My son who is 9 loves...Dance Monkey, and Old Town Road! Not sure how many 9 yo's you're catering for though!

Dancing or just listening?

Probably both!! It's a New Year family party at the weekend.

Oh and no sweaty stuff. I don't want to give my grandma a funny turn. 😂

For something that will appeal from disco divas to the modern day, I'd suggest "Juice" by Lizzo.
Even if you've never heard it before you can dance to it.

Is it worth finding out songs that mean a lot to the participants?

Only saying that because I heard "Perfect" by Fairground Attraction last night and it was the first time in a long time that OH and got up and danced in the sitting room*

*It counts as dancing if one partner me is dragging the other one away from viewing "Geek Magazine for People Who Love Facts" and skipping around the other like they were a maypole, doesn't it?
