I'm a bit late to this thread, but mine were a lovely pair of black ankle boots from DP.

I loved all my presents, best is either my Pikachu pandora charm or my Jaeger bag.

The Nothing I got from my Mum and Dad. (Mutually agreed.) I don't have to write a thank you note for it, I don't have to pretend to like it, I don't have to store it, clean it, maintain it and have it cluttering my house. It's perfect.

A large bottle of my favourite gin ..... cheers!!!!

Joules wellies for walking the dogs, they're so comfy.
Soft pyjamas.
Smart brown boots.
Red Door perfume, I'd never heard of it but it smells lovely and I've had so many compliments.

DD3 bought me a necklace that I'd seen and admired but couldn't justify buying for myself (so she snuck back and got it later!)
DD1 bought me a book on the History of the Witch - it's fascinating.
DS2 bought me a fabulous carved wooden bowl which will look wonderful in the new house.

I actually got some wonderful things this year, because I'm moving house, so I could suggest things that I wanted for Christmas. Usually I have no idea whatsoever as to what I want and they just have to guess! Bang up job all round (I also got a highly amusing Christmas sweater from DS1 and DD2 is buying me a spa day when I go out to visit her in Feb!).

Lovely Hush pjs.
A Stevie Nicks t-shirt.
A graphic novel version of To Kill A Mockingbird.
A handmade silver necklace in the form of a full moon, made by my sister.
Some Molecule 101 perfume.
A cheque from my mum that’s paid for a holiday.

I did very well this year.

My new slippers, after I somehow managed to lose mine.
New fitbit after old one broke
Statistics book for my uni course. Now hopefully I'll pass my exam next week.
All 3 from either my parents or husband.

I got little bits and bobs from the family which I loved (candles, perfume.m, stationery) but I actually bought myself a Freddie’s Flowers subscription and a Scentsy warmer and I love them too. It was a tough year and they are making me very happy.

Some Channel no 5, which I haven’t had for years and love, and a gorgeous cashmere scarf which is perfect for when I am on playground duty - I think we have the windiest playground ever!

Poetryinaction · 10/01/2020 22:55

A chillys style water bottle.
My dh got me a bottle of gin, my mum got me some stuff I will take back, and I got one other gift from my inlaws that I requested.
The water bottle was a lovely surprise from my aunt. So useful. And I haven't said thank you yet. I will.

A pencil sharpener. The type you can clamp to a surface, wind a handle and collect the bits in a little drawer. Like the teachers had at school.

DSis gave it to me. I've always wanted one.

I'm not even joking. I've been going round the house looking for slightly blunt pencils to sharpen.
