Anyone else spending NYE alone?

I am. Husband working until 4am. Kids are grown and doing their own thing.

I've cleared away all the Christmas presents and cleaned the house from top to bottom.

I've treated myself to a Chinese. I'm now drinking wine and eating cheesecake. It's very peaceful.

It's my first ever NYE alone, and I feel like I ought to be miffed about it, but I'm not really.

Anyone else?

It sounds blissful!

I am a bit envious as would love to be doing what you're doing. Maybe next year. . .

Enjoy and happy new year xx

Just me and the dog here! Made a chicken curry for later, Frazzles and peanuts as nibbles for much later on, bottle of Coke in the fridge ...Paaarrrttyyyy time at mine!!😆
Been widowed 2 years now, so got plenty to watch on Sky box and tv. Always loathed NYE anyway, find it so fake and false so I can please myself now...
was full of flu this time last year so anything is an improvement on that!
All the best for 2020 everyone!!

I'm without adult company tonight too. My DC are on their tablets and DH is also working until 4am. Might see if I can stay up to see him unless he is kept on at work.
