Happy New Year

Why am I getting messages wishing me Happy New Year? I’m sure this didn’t used to happen and that people used to wait until, you know, the new year had started to wish others Happy New Year.

It’s still 2019.

I'm with you! Wish someone happy new year in the actual new year!

(Where I'm from we take this to extremes, which means if you don't see someone that often you can still be saying "Happy New Year" in the Summer Grin)
