Can I drink this wine?

I have a bottle of non-alcoholic white wine (Sauvignon Blanc) that was opened last Monday. It’s had the top on and mainly been in the fridge. Question is, would you drink it after a week? The other question is, would you want to lol? It’s not the best tasting wine as it is.

Maybe cook with it. Or make mulled wine, there are recipes for white wine

Tartyflette · 30/12/2019 22:09

I don't think I'd want to drink it even when it was freshly opened.
After a week -- I'd definitely bin it. 😆

It won’t do you any harm. In fact, as there’s no alcohol in it, it would probably taste better than week-old alcoholic wine!

Why wouldn’t you? What are you concerned might have happened to it? Wouldn’t even cross my mind not to drink it.

BillywilliamV · 30/12/2019 22:12

Pour it straight down the loo, cut out the middle man!

Ithinkwerealonenowtiffany · 30/12/2019 22:15

I wouldn’t drink it. Its non alcohol😁

needanewnamechange · 30/12/2019 22:23

Erm well yes why not ? Although I'm confused by the non alcoholic wine .

PixieN · 30/12/2019 22:29

I wouldn’t normally touch it either lol, but I’m 13 weeks pregnant and fancied a glass. I’ve got some non-alcoholic mulled wine, which has been open for a similar length of time and that says it needs to be refrigerated and consumed within 3 days on the label. I thought it would last longer and it just made me wonder about the white - nothing on the label and couldn’t find anything about it on google.

Annoyingly DH has opened a bottle of red - definitely alcoholic unfortunately!

Maybe I should have posted an AIBU - should DH join me in abstinence? Ltb? Grin

Ive just thrown away quarter of a bottle of AF wine that had been opened last Monday.

Chuck. A glass of normal wine less risky than food poisoning. Also non alcoholic wine is barf.

PixieN · 31/12/2019 10:04

I ended up pouring it away. It wasn’t particularly nice anyway!

Try it - have a sip... it won't be fresh but it's essentially grape juice! It would have preservatives in it.
I would drink most wines - aside from sparkling - Stored in fridge with lid on for a week or so no problem. Have worked in wineries 10+ years.

Ahh sorry didn't see updated....
