Holiday Recommendations

Can anyone recommend a hotel/package holiday/resort for six adults and one toddler with the following:

Pool (possibly extra children's pool)
Evening entertainment
Walking distance/shuttle to resort/town centre with shops and restaurants for day and evening strolls
Half board option (not essential)

Ideally we'd go to Italy but I'm struggling to find hotels with evening entertainment.

Not usually a fan of all inclusive resorts in Spain or Greece purely as I cannot cope with the heat or sun and a pool based holiday would be wasted on me.

We'd go in September for one week. Budget up to £1000 per person.

Any suggestions?

Many resort hotels do evening entertainment and a variety of board options from B&B right up to AI and are located in or within walking distance to restaurants, beach, shops etc and there's also the option of just using the hotel as a base and getting out and about as much as you want to, it's not compulsory to spend the entire holiday, or indeed any of it 'pool based'.

The Canaries probably aren't as hot as Spain or Greece in the summer and have endless choice of what you're after. Try putting your requirements into jet2holidays or onthebeach and see what comes up. You don't have to book via these sites, but the search function is good for identifying suitable hotels that you can then book however you choose to.

I recommend a cruise.
Plenty for everyone to do, all inclusive food, entertainment, kids clubs.
