Ice cream milkshake

I'm really craving one but no blender here.

I have in vanilla ice cream, ice, milk and a flask. What's the best way to do it?

Put ice cream in microwave for 10 secs ish to soften but not melt it. Mix with milk. Stir vigourously.

Put ice back in freezer where it belongs.
