I am in a panic, my aunt had Norovirus 2 weeks ago. She came to visit today and was playing with my ds with his toy doctors kit. My son was pretending to give my aunt medicine and she put the toys spoon in her mouth then my son put it in his! Is there still a chance my son could catch it?

Highly unlikely. The host is not contagious 48hrs after last vomit or diarrhea and I'm sure she's brushed her teeth many times in the last 2 weeks so I'd be very very surprised if your child caught anything from her.

Thank you, I suffer from health anxiety and emetophobia it’s really crippling for me in the winter months. I read that you can still be contagious up to 2 weeks after so I am in panic mode

Op I also have health anxiety and emetophobia and have done a lot of research into norovirus, you can still be shedding the virus in your normal stools for up to 2 weeks after so you would only catch it if she used your bathroom for a bowel movement, then didn't wash her hands or close the toilet lid when flushing and spread the germs that way. The way you described it is so unlikely to be caught after 2 weeks.

@Nogodsnomasters thank you so much that makes me feel much better. She has not had a bowel movement that I’m aware of but I have sterizar so I will scrub the bathroom after she is gone! It’s really a nightmare feeling like this. I’m honestly scared to go anywhere the fear is so bad. Hate feeling like this

I understand how you feel, it really is very hard. But I am so sure that in this instance you and your dc will be both be absolutely fine, you've stayed away for the correct length of time. It has been 2 weeks already so she may no longer be even shedding it in her stool by today anyway.
