Children home from their dads. Everything is boring. Nothing is right! They are being so rude to each other. And obviously I'm no fun.
I understand where it comes from. I'm being very patient. But arghh....

It’s tough, isn’t it?

Mine are still at their dad’s until Tuesday, but will be the same when they get home. And I had an afternoon of it before they left too.

They find the transition tough, and adjusting to the different ways things are done here and there.

I hope it settles soon, OP, it’s no fun (for anyone) when you’re in the middle of it all

Thanks Isitme. Yes it's a huge transition isn't it, living between two homes. Mostly we manage ok these days. Everything is more exciting and emotional at Christmas.

And a tough bedtime. Feel very sorry for them. Trying to remember lots of children are probably out of sorts this time of year.
