Alternatives to Noriday

Another40ththread · 29/12/2019 12:57

I have endo, pcos and suffer from migraines. Femulen was brilliant but they discontinued it so was prescribed Noriday 6 years which has been ok. Due to the current manufacturing problems I need to be prescribed a new pill, any suggestions?

As it's not an emergency I can't get in to see my doctor and the pharmacy have said they don't know when they will have stock and I've only got a week left.

Hopeful bump.

watching with interest. My pharmacist passed my script back for this without more than a glance, telling me he's not been able to get it for a few months. This is concerning me as I swapped to this from Cerelle and cerazette due to horrible cystic acne, and the noriday has been brilliant with no problems.

@DrMadelineMaxwell I sympathise, I also had cystic acne on cerazette. I've asked the GP to prescribe a new pill, can't get an appointment before I run out as there is a two week wait and obviously it's not appropriate for an emergency appointment so haven't been able to talk to a GP, had to just submit a prescription request and hope for the best.

I struggled to get Noriday 4 months ago but my latest script last month was sorted with no difficulty. Hope you get sorted

I was swapped onto Cerelle but this is obviously not an option for you. No Noriday for about 6 months here.

@IamMummyhearmeROAR whereabout are you if you don't mind me asking, I've not been able to get it in the south east, I've been to quite a few pharmacies in different towns as well as online.

@petalpower I've just had prescription through and it's for Cerelle too, what would be the issues with it?

Sorry misread and mixed you up with DrMadeleineMaxwell who had issues with her skin on Cerelle. I have been fine with no issues.

It's taken 3 visits to the GP to sort it out and quite a few pharmacies but I finally have some noriday! This has made my week!
