I am awake with a drug withdrawing baby, I can hear next-door but one neighbour's cockerel crowing and the sky is strangely light out there.

Today baby has given me the most beautiful smile. As a mum I cannot begin to imagine how it feels to know you are missing out on the precious firsts.
