I am awake with a drug withdrawing baby, I can hear next-door but one neighbour's cockerel crowing and the sky is strangely light out there.

@cultmaskid no, haven't been to docs. Will wait until tomorrow and see if it's any better and hopefully get some then if necessary

ParkheadParadise · 29/12/2019 03:53

I'm awake because dd is in bed with us. She came in the room got on her hands and knees and went round to DH side of the bed climbed over the top of him. She knows if she comes in my side i take her back to her bed.
She can't stay still, I've now got her leg over my stomach and I'm wide awake.

bloodywhitecat · 29/12/2019 03:57

@Bottler Baby is 6 weeks old. your meal sounds wonderful, I have just had a slice of bread, thick butter and chocolate spread, I am ignoring the call of all the Christmas treats in the cupboard.

@alittlebitworried23 I hope they can help you. I watched my mum battle with her mental health for years and have seen just how hard it is Flowers

Flowers for all the poorly babies and everyone else going through hard times out there.

I'm awake because I just had a really awful nightmare about my own DD, five months, and I daren't go back to sleep. Came on MN to try to stop me thinking about it! Also really need a glass of water but don't want to wake DD and DH.

ZeroOneOneTwoThree · 29/12/2019 04:06

Another baby here - recovering from bronchiolitis, but has gone from waking once a night to waking every hour. DH and I have decided to do the night in shifts, so we can get a block of sleep each rather than lots of broken bits of sleep. Just waiting for babe to feed, and then it’ll be my turn to rest.

I’m going to read EarthMotherImNot‘s thread now too.

alittlebitworried23 · 29/12/2019 04:07

Being looked after just massive waits, I know I'm not seriously unwell it's just frustrating, been told surgeons won't be round till about 8:00. I'm sitting on a chair! I knew I needed help I was risking losing the arm

KatyMac · 29/12/2019 04:07

I'm up because I got mixed up and put a hrt patch on a day late and now my insomnia is insane

Glad I haven't got a poorly baby/child and wish you all the best with all of yours xxx

Playing game after game of Ticket to Ride with my mum. So flipping addictive!

notsodimwit · 29/12/2019 04:18

Alittlebitworried23 Flowers

OneOfTheGrundys · 29/12/2019 04:21

Flowers for the poorly ones.

My elderly dog is very sick. I think he’s dying. He sleeps next to me. He helped me through depression and DH’s dx of incurable disease. So sad to see him like this.

TheNemesisOfLame · 29/12/2019 04:29

I've agreed to let DD have a NYE party.

DH said she could have 20 - its ended up as 40 (my fault).
DH is refusing to help organise stuff as his v sensible advice was ignored - so I'm panicking about moving furniture and vomiting teenagers...
I thought I'd do a list of jobs to do...

Nbwalc · 29/12/2019 04:33

Flowers grundy.

I've been on night-shift this past week and next I'm on normal so trying to push through the whole of today and go to bed at 9/10pm ish today/tonight? I'm losing track Confused

ineedanotherholiday · 29/12/2019 04:37

Have a sickness bug the joys and am pregnant, back is in bits.

Geomanc · 29/12/2019 04:43

Going through a divorce. We've sold the house but won't be moving out till end of January, I'm currently sleeping in the playroom on a camp bed (Dh works shifts so I've given him our bedroom ). And this campbed is THE most uncomfortable bed ever 🤦‍♀️

OhFFS162 · 29/12/2019 04:51

Up late worrying about my ovarian cyst (large and may require surgery but “watching and waiting” first to be 100% if surgery is needed).
Flowers poor baby, hope they feel better soon op

orangejuicer · 29/12/2019 04:56

13mo teething and not sleeping well.

sotiredofthisshit · 29/12/2019 05:00

Horrible untrue things that someone said to me a couple of days ago are playing on my mind. I'm annoyed with myself that I've let them get to me.

PleaseGiveMeAShake · 29/12/2019 05:07

34 weeks pregnant and the most I can sleep is 3 hours a night.
5.06 and I still haven't been to sleep yet 😭😢

TinselTortoise · 29/12/2019 05:08

Worrying about my 10 yr old. It's one thing after another with kids!

Buyitinbamboo · 29/12/2019 05:24

Another baby here with bronciolitis. 5 weeks old and he spent nearly a week in intensive care. He moved to the high dependency unit yesterday and I'm struggling with someone not being next to him at all times so don't feel I can leave unless they miss him having a moment (hes started having seizures)

pissedoffwithprojects · 29/12/2019 05:28

Up with my 4 year old who has Flu (which I had on Christmas Day) and worrying that her 1 year old sister will be next!

Bottler · 29/12/2019 05:33

@ParkheadParadise Hahaha Clever dd! Has Daddy wrapped around her little finger.

ssd · 29/12/2019 05:34
