What time to pick up a parcel?

I set a safe place up for a parcel that was being delivered today because we arw out most of it. Yodel have decided to ignore the advice to leave in my unlocked garage and leave with my neighbour 3 doors down. (Who also happens to be DD's teacher.)
We should be home before 7 o clock. Will it be too late to knock on and retrieve my precious DM boots?

That would be fine for me.

Before 7pm is fine.

I went at 10 to 7. Lights on and cars there. I rand bell. Nothing. Knocked. Nothing. Looks like 7 is too late. I feel embqrassed they now may know I knocked when it was too late.

Wow! That’s weird. Seven is nothing.

PenelopeFlintstone · 28/12/2019 22:26

And I go to bed sometimes at 9.30!

They might have been at the back of the house / having dinner / in the loo / in the bath. Definitely nothing to be embarrassed about!! Try again tomorrow.

OP. Most children aren't in bed at 6.50.
Dont worry. Just knock again tomorrow

KevinsCarter · 29/12/2019 12:29

Got it now. :) They were coming out as I was coming in. I honestly hate it when parcels go to unexpected places. It's almost as bad as going to the shops, but a risk you take when setting up a safe place.
My DMs are resplendent.
