I had a Fitbit flex years ago. Then got a garmin vivosport which I loved but the strap ripped and you can’t get replacement straps which is ridiculous and I refuse to buy another.
So I got a Fitbit Charge 3. Now I’ll ignore the fact I paid £25 extra for the nfc Fitbit pay one which turns out only works if you bank with Santander (I don’t).
But god is it glitchy! When it works I like it. But it’s frequently refusing to sync with my phone and also same problem with my iPad. I keep turning it off, but you can only do this reset thing if it’s charging so no good if out and about and it won’t sync. Took me 30 mins to get it sync this morning. I don’t have time for this shit. Then refused to sync another 2 times today so I left it and when I came back to it later (both times) it was ok.
It also keeps randomly changing the clock face. So it’s meant to display steps, hr, time. But it keeps changing to displaying distance, calories and time. When I go into the app it shows it’s displaying the right clock face but it isn’t. So I have to pick a different one, then pick the first one and it goes back to what it should be.....if it syncs.
Is this normal For fitbits or have I got a faulty one?
