Hi all. DH and I are off to Tenby tomorrow. Would love some suggestions of things to do in town and surrounding area.

Carew castle is lovely. Bosherston lily ponds are worth a visit too.

So much nice stuff in that area! Agree that Bosherston lakes are nice. Tenby itself is really nice to wander around. Also, head down to saundersfoot and eat at Coast, so delicious (or at least it was when we went a couple of years ago).

Bosherton is lovely. Saundersfoot is also nice to stroll along the front. That said Tenby is a lovely town to mooch about (though perhaps quiet this time of year) and the beaches are lovely!

I'm following this. We've booked a cottage in Saundersfoot in May.

Lots of nice places to eat in Tenby. Agree bosh lilyponds carew castle if it’s open and there’s a nice walk around the mill pond too.

Manor park (zoo) in st Florence is ok and has some interesting animals also heatherton which is directly opposite but check opening hours before going!

Take a boat trip to Caldy Island! It's beautiful!

CaptainMyCaptain · 28/12/2019 14:38

Can you take dogs on the boat trip?

Spudulike3 · 28/12/2019 14:56

Excellent. Loads of good suggestions. Thanks all!

@CaptainMyCaptain Yes you can take dogs - mainly smaller dogs I've seen on there

neversleepagain · 28/12/2019 15:18

Candy Island doesn't do boat trips until April.

Thanks @BeagleMomma.
